Driving home this morning i was listening to Willie Nelson on the radio singing "mammas don't Let your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys." The song was still stuck in my head as i surfed through CNN news on the web. I ran across an article on Jill Carroll who was abducted and held hostage by the religion of peace. That article told of a 5 year old kid already being indoctrinated by terrorists and how he was to become one of them calling himself a "Mujahid," a holy warrior. So i started to wonder what mothers hoped their babies would grow up to be over in the Middle East? From what i can read on internet blogs and see on the news it looks like a lot of mothers don't want their kids to grow up but receive their 42 virgins as early as possible. Mothers are content on letting kids become human shields and suicide bombers.
Those mothers are the same ones that recently let Hizbollah terrorists launch rockets into Israel among civilians using them as human shields. When Israel returned fire they screamed and cried that Israel was murdering them. Here's a terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of another country operating freely in Lebanon expecting them not to retaliate but sit back and receive casualties. Strange mothers ! I wonder if Willie could write them a song? I doubt it! I doubt if Cat Stevens could even do it.

Its funny...these same terriost groups blow up the twin towers, and then last week planed to blow up several planes from England to the US, They start an attack on Isreal...... and the world and the UN condems Israel. Go figure.
I saw a report from Isreal the other day where reporters were following Emergency response crews...ambulance and fire fighters, around one of the citys there.
They said Hizbolla would fire a rocket into the city,and then wait a few minutes for emergency crews to get to the spot and then fire another rocket to the same location.
Brutal or what?

It is really strange how can someone sacrifice or lose his life for anything! but i have many questions: how can you be sure that they were used as human shields or just u got that by a newspaper or a TV! i dont trust Hizabollah and i dont trust your media's too! while maybe you are right saying they die for a holy war! but do u think a war is ever holy? this is shame on humanity!
By the way, in Lebanon there is christians too.
Also, maybe you are right to say their families are learning them, but i guess also, it is sufficient to see their families dying for a war maybe they didnt choose, and their house or village crashed!
Do u thing Wayn, if they want to remove hizbollah from their village they can??!! you read the news, Israel couldnt! so why killing them, to give Hizbollah more mojahodin for the future!

thank you sasmen for your comments. we may be so much alike but also so far apart.i have two granddaughters and would not want to see them harmed in anyway but when i look at the news and see how children are indocrinated for terrorism it makes me shake my head in disbelief.in just a few years that child will probably be blowing himself to bits and taking other innocent people along with him. i trust the newspapers and tv from my world of democracy anyday over the news from a culture whose intent is to wipe a nation(israel) off the map.

I know my nephews parents. They are peace makers and will not raise their child in any way where he would hurt other people. If he does, it will be his own choice.
People are brain washed by religion, therefore they feel they are doing the right thing but really they are destroying themselves and the people around them. Yes, children do start off innocent but not all "bad poeple" grow up to be bad by a religion, there are many other factors.
Table Mountains, you are also making the assumption that my family are muslims. As Sasmen stated, there are also many Christians in Lebanon. (Not that this is a justified reason for the killing of innocent muslim civilians).
I can not beleive that you are justifying the murder of innocent children on a religious basis! Count how many Lebanese civilians are being killed compared to Isreal. But it does not matter where a child is from, I do not see a country, I see innocence. (Please refer to my last post).
From my beautiful country, Australia, I have been listening to many views. Has it ever occured to you that many Lebanese may want Hezbollah out!! Has it ever occured to you that they may wish to be with Isreal but can not stand them detroying their beautiful country and people.
Lebanon is a very small country, they do not have the military power or the support to defend themselves, that is why they are taken advantage of.
I agree with you, many muslims do force their religious views on other people but there are also many wonderful muslims who live peacefully in our world.
There are also many Chrisitan religious cults who force their views on people such as the Nazi's and the KKK.
We are all in this together, my friend. If other people do not want peace, then it has to start with us...... And that means there is no justifiable answer for killing a child, whether they grow up to be terrorists or not.

I myslef stand with the UN, I am against all forms of violence from Muslims, Jewish or Christians.
voice of reason, do you find the UN slow to react to crisis? while they're dotting the i's and drafting papers a lot die. i wish sometimes their reaction would be in hours not weeks.
after 9=11 i started to look at the world differently.in june muslim terrorists who are canadian citizens planned to blow up their fellow canadians. ( http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/americas/06/03/canada.terror/index.html )this has started to make me wonder if even some who live close to me support their actions. i've seen them protest cartoon caricatures depicting the prophet muhammad threatening death.they have marched protesting the war ourgovernment is wagering on terrorism in afghanistan. they never protest or show support for those of us who speak up against the people who are terrorist.when i see muslims out marching/protesting against those who want to export terrorist here.then,maybe i'll start respecting their religion and culture. for now,i'll keep feeling that the greatest threats to my way of life are by terrorist....MUSLIM TERRORISTS.

What happened on September 11th was devasting. Those poor poor innocent people. But are they not equal to the poor innocent people who have been slaughted by the western world or those they suppport? Terrorists come in many forms, my friend, and they are all not labled as muslims.
Muslims supporting what happened on Sep 11th is disgusting but the west supporting what is happening in the middle east in just as bad to me. Life is sacred! In Australia, a man who tortures a cat is sent to jail.......yes very very ture.....yet we sit helpless while "people" are being tortured...
Watch the movie "Munich", it helps see another side to Isreal...But one thing I love about Isreal, they know how to look after their people....

Now give me good examples and facts to back up this statement. The only other war that I can remember the US being involved with other than the two that is going on in the middle east today was WWII, now lets take WWII most of the Middle East Countries sided with Hitler, yes with Hitler and the majority of them still hold the same views that he did world dominance.
Recall that the Arab nations generally sided with Hitler during World War II. Haj Amin Faisel Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem even invited Hitler to bring his Jew-killing machine to Palestine (which is what the Jewish homeland was called before she declared her independence as the Jewish State of Israel). The Arab nations continue to demonstrate the same aberrant thinking prevalent during Hitler's reign.
Even though Hitler professed to be a Christian the purpose of the Nazis was not to convert people to any specific religion, his purpose was to have an Arian nation of white supremacist, the very same goal of the Klan and not based on any specific religion and portraying them as religious cults is not correct in any shape or form.

I’m not saying the US has not played a role in destroying some lives in the middle east all you have to do is look around and see who the major players are when it comes to destroying lives, it is Muslims killing Muslims or Muslims killing other people based upon their religion. Today there two or three countries in the middle east where you can say that I am of another religion than Islam without being forced to convert or having your head chopped of and we want to talk about religious cults.
There is appox 15 or 16 wars going on in the world today and Islam is involved in about 13 or 14 of them and you want to talk about the West. The only countries that actually prosper with out oil are the ones that have been influenced by the west and they were the ones that fell under the British Empire., and look back over the past 1,000 years the only thing Islam has brought to the world is death and destruction.
If I remember correctly just last week Australia came out and said if you are an Islam O Fascist or fanatic which ever you want to call them, then pack your bags and get out of the country because they are not wanted.
As far as killing cats where I live at here in the States you will get more time in jail for killing one of them than abusing a child
