Autumn here seems late this year. The green grass on the Table Mountains have taken on their straw yellow and reds but at lower elevations we have not seen much change in colors. Several morning frosts recently and the changes should appear soon. A few of us made an ATV ride yesterday to the mountain and met a few of the guys from the community returning with a Caribou. Saw plenty of partridge but we didn't hunt on this trip. some photos today of yesterdays little excursion.

Looks like a great area to ride in. You can't beat the view.

I hope snoop dawg has a permit to drive that thing?

So you have been quite for awhile Wayne, with country like that at your door step I understand why.
We have equally as good, but fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your point of view, there is no access to higher ground for 4x4.

wayne? how hard is it to get to the table top from the cape ray area? we have been in the area but it looks like some massive fortress and we saw no access.

about 200 meters east of the cape ray (408) intersection there is a road that goes to the top. it has been recently upgraded and a lot of people are going up there now in vehicles.(4x4)
