Eastern Health has a solution for the communication problems.
Eastern Health has announced that carrier pigeons will now be used to communicate between their department and that of Minister Ross Wiseman. This new project with ACOA funding is expected to start in 2010. Yvonne Jones has raised questions of where will the pigeons come from? Minister Kathy Dunderdale has come under fire because rumors have it they will be hatched in the town of Burin. Carol Furlong of NAPE wants to know if the pigeons will be unionized? The only remark by the Premier so far is that no pigeons will be shot.
