That one went over in white - out conditions. poor visibility was the factor here. They had it up and running in just a few hours.

Wayne, is it usual for geese to be in that area this time of year?

yes,some stay all year but that's the most I have noticed in winter there. It's a sanctuary and come spring there will be thousands more.

If we had the equipment would there be a way to locate it in a prime spot there and record when the gusts occur?

sorry,I may of deleted one of your comments by accident. yes,there is one location where the majority of accidents seem to occur and pointing in that direction will also shield the cam from the gusts.spring would be ideal and an advanced forecast would enable us to have things put in place ahead of the gusts.
